After months and months of experiencing writer's block or creative lulls or whatever you want to call it, I've decided to move on from writing the sequel to Carried Away (even though I've already poured so many hours and so much heart into it). The epilogue of Carried Away gave enough indication of what would happen for the main character and I just don't feel a sequel is necessary or the right move for me any longer, personally and professionally. I've been contemplating this for quite some time and have recently felt the clarity I needed to pull the plug. I have begun working on some new projects that I'm feeling good about and am hoping the result will be another book coming out sometime in the near(ish) future. I'm still so grateful for all of the support and kindness surrounding my first venture into the world of writing, and Carried Away will always be my little book "baby".
